Raj Panjabi is CEO of Last Mile Health, an associate physician in Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s Division of Global Health Equity, and an instructor at Harvard Medical School. At nine years old, he and his family fled Liberia’s civil war, but he returned in 2005 to work with the Liberia Ministry of Health — then co-founded Last Mile Health. Panjabi is a recipient of the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, the TED Prize, and the Global Citizen Movement Award. He was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People, one of Fortune’s World’s 50 Greatest Leaders, a Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation Social Entrepreneur, and an Echoing Green Fellow.
