Phil Waldeck

Phil Waldeck is president of Prudential Retirement, a business unit of Prudential Financial, since 2017. In this position, he works to transform the retirement system that American workers rely on with solutions for public, private, and nonprofit organizations, as well as simplifying saving for workers and retirees. Waldeck helped to create the modern pension risk transfer market and is a respected voice on new approaches to financial wellness. Previously, he was senior vice president and head of pensions and structured solutions for Prudential. Before that, he was a senior vice president in Cigna’s retirement business. Waldeck also chairs the board of Achieve Hartford.
