Visualization Manager, Climate Program Office, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Ned Gardiner is a climate visualization project manager for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Climate Program Office. He is a producer and designer for NOAA’s Climate.gov and the US government’s Climate Resilience Toolkit website. With a background in remote sensing, digital mapping techniques, statistics, and stream ecology, Gardiner is a scientist who has shifted focus from research to communications. He also advises the American Museum of Natural History’s Science Bulletins program and co-produces content with the Worldviews Network, which he co-founded to help decision-makers transform their understanding of the systems that link processes from local to global and vice versa.
