Kevin Rudd is the inaugural president of the Asia Society Policy Institute, since 2015. He was prime minister of Australia from 2007 to 2010 and in 2013, and foreign minister from 2010 to 2012. Rudd chaired the Independent Commission on Multilateralism from 2014 to 2016, leading a review of the United Nations system. As a senior fellow at Harvard Kennedy School in 2014, he completed a policy paper on US-China relations. Rudd is a Distinguished Fellow at Chatham House, Distinguished Statesman with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and Distinguished Fellow at the Paulson Institute. He is a visiting professor at Tsinghua University and co-chairs the World Economic Forum’s China Council.
