
Josh Nesbit
Co-Founder and CEO, Medic Mobile
Josh Nesbit is CEO of Medic Mobile, a nonprofit whose software currently helps 20,000 community health workers provide care for 12 million people in hard-to-reach communities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Prior to co-founding the organization in 2010, Nesbit studied global health and bioethics at Stanford University, where his qualitative research focused on pediatric HIV/AIDS in Malawi. He is an Ashoka fellow, PopTech Social Innovation fellow, Echoing Green fellow, and Rainer Arnhold fellow. His honors include the 2016 Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award, the Truman Award for Innovation from the Society for International Development, and being named one of Forbes’s top 30 social entrepreneurs.
