Jennifer Senior is a contributing editor at New York magazine, covering politics, social science, and mental health. She is the author of All Joy and No Fun: The Paradox of Modern Parenthood, a New York Times best-seller and one of Slate’s Top 10 Books of 2014, which earned her invitations to speak at TED’s annual conference and Sydney Opera House. Senior won the Front Page Award from the Newswomen’s Club of New York (twice), the GLAAD award, and the Erikson Prize in Mental Health Media. Her work has been anthologized four times in The Best American Political Writing, and she is a frequent guest on NPR and television programs.
