Flora Lichtman

Flora Lichtman is host and managing editor of “Every Little Thing,” a weekly podcast from Gimlet Media that answers people’s small questions. Previously, she was a writer for Bill Nye’s Netflix show, “Bill Nye Saves the World” and a producer for public radio’s “Science Friday.” Lichtman has been nominated for Emmy awards for her television writing and for co-directing a series of short animated films on the history of science, Animated Life, which originally aired on The New York Times Op-Docs channel. Before she got into journalism, she worked for a NATO oceanographic lab in Italy, living on an Italian ship for the lab’s research expeditions.
